The Merry Wives of Windsor & The Comedy of Errors
A double bill of Shakespeare's comedies, transporting audiences to the early noughties.
"What tempest threw this whale ashore at Windsor?"
Washed up in Windsor, a small hamlet near Polperro in Cornwall, Sir John Falstaff tries his luck with a couple of the local ladies. However, Mistress Ford and Mistress Page have seen him coming a mile off. With the help of the rest of the community, they hatch a series of elaborate schemes that leave Falstaff all at sea.
"Stay, stand apart, I know not which is which."
Antipholus and Dromio have just arrived at the party town of Ephesus, looking for a good time, but everyone is treating them rather strangely. What they don't realise is that their respective long-lost twin siblings have been living here since they were separated by a shipwreck as infants. Mistaken identities spiral into full blown chaos as the town and the twins are swept up in a family reunion like no other.
